Integrative Wellness Massage

Let the tension in your body melt away with a deeply relaxing Swedish based wellness massage. Improving circulation, encouraging release of muscle tension, and breaking the daily stress cycle within your body are just a few of the benefits.

Therapeutic Bodywork

Dealing with an injury? Let me help you back get on the road to recovery.

Therapeutic bodywork modalities include: Range of Motion, Compressions, Myofascial release, Craniosacral,  Stretches, Trigger Points, Neuromuscular re-patterning, and self-care recommendations, just to name a few.

Often times, these therapeutic techniques are just as relaxing and satisfying as a traditional Swedish relaxation massage!

Prenatal Massage

With a growing belly and changing body, mothers-to-be need special care. Reduction of stress and tension is good for you and your little bundle.

I have training in prenatal relaxation massage, and special techniques to treat achy hips and backs, always with an awareness of contraindications and "danger zones".  Belly rubs promote healthy digestion, can shift growing babies (who may have a foot uncomfortably kicking your back or ribs), and can feel really good for you and Jr.

Massage Cupping Bodywork Therapy

This ancient form of bodywork combines negative pressure (suction) and movement to lift and mobilize tissues, lymph and stagnant blood in the body. Safe for nearly everyone, it's used for both its therapeutic and cosmetic benefits.

The therapeutic benefits of this technique are:

  • Lymph drainage
  • Break up adhesions
  • Myofascial release
  • Affects deep tissues
  • Moves stagnation
  • Reduces inflammation and pain
  • Stimulates blood flow and increases circulation
  • Calms the nervous system for deep relaxation

More on Cupping

In a therapeutic/wellness capacity, massage cupping helps with the following conditions:

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Inflammatory conditions (Bursitis, Tendonitis, etc.)
  • Digestive issues
  • Edema (swelling) and stagnant lymph
  • Poor circulation
  • Sciatica
  • Insomnia
  • Anxiety
  • Poorly nourished muscles and skin (poor circulation)
  • Lung issues (asthma, congestion, etc.)
  • Migraines and headaches
  • High blood pressure
  • Neuralgia and rheumatism
  • TMJ dysfunction
  • Diabetes
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Chronic pain
  • Plantar Fasciitis

Facial Rejuvenation Treatment

This unique treatment uses gentle negative pressure to deeply hydrate the skin around the eyes, face, neck and décolletage, leaving you with skin that is firmer, smoother, and brighter. Deeply relaxing, this pain free treatment brings out your naturally youthful glow, without the use of chemicals, needles or surgery. And unlike body cupping, this method rarely leaves "cup kisses" or marks. With regular treatments, experience long lasting results without the pain or price of traditional methods.

Reiki

Reiki is the Japanese practice of channeling and directing the universal life force (energy found everywhere and in everything), through the recipient to promote relaxation, health and general well being.  This gentle energy work modality is appropriate and safe for nearly everyone, including those who can not receive traditional massage. (Unfortunately, it is not recommended for those with pace makers).

CranioSacral Work

This holistic healing modality uses gentle touch at the head, neck and sacrum (tale of your spine), to achieve balance in the craniosacral rhythm. The craniosacral rhythm is the flow, or pulse, in an enclosed systembetween your cranium and sacrum comprised of bones, connective tissue, spinal fluid, and nerves. This very subtle work can have a very profound effect on the physical, emotional and energetic body.

Reflexology

This acupressure technique focuses on different pressure points or reflex zones on the feet. These reflex zones correlate to different organs/systems within our bodies. Reflexology aims to stimulate these reflex zones, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and general well being. And it feels AMAZING!

Hot Stones

In this add- on service, smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.

Aromatherapy

Essential oils incorporated into massage lotions add a deeper sense of wellness and relaxation to your session. Enjoy as an add-on service
